Dolf van Der Wal first at Burton Halfpipe Invitational

bhi1.jpgA beautiful brand new halfpipe had been built, offering the riders the best possible conditions to perform in. Amongst the riders, were the young and talented Mikkel Bang from Norway, professional Swedish snowboarder Hampus Mosesson and Olivier Gittler from France. They all ripped of a breath taking show with their world class halfpipe riding. The audience followed in style bringing a great positive atmosphere to the event.

The riders competed against each other ‘head to head’, where the best rider got to continue to the next heat. The best Swedish rider of the day, Hampus Mosesson, showed off his skills by winning every single one of his heats up to the final round. The super final was nerv thrilling and the outcome hard to predict due to the high level of riding from all of the participants.

In his first run during the super finals, the Dutch rider Dolf van der Wal managed to perform his best run of the day. It brought him to first place and and a prize check of 50.000 sek.

Third place 10.000 sek Tore Holvik, Norway

Winner of the Parlino Highest Air 10.000 sek Hampus Mosesson, Sweden.
Winner of the Junkyard Volvo 740 Bonk 10.000 sek Mikkel Bang, Norway.
