MTV Rail Jam will be hitting the slopes of Falls Creek – Victoria on Thursday 30 July, as part of stellar winter event, MTV Snow Jam. As the crowds build in anticipation of live performances by Phrase and Cut Copy DJs, riders including international Burton pro snowboarders Mark Sollors and Charles Reid, plus local riders Jye Kearney, Tom Pelley and Robbie Walker, will battle it out to win prizes including a share of a $10,000 prize pool.

Burton Snowboards have partnered with MTV to create and manage the MTV Rail Jam snowboarding extravaganza. The one-off MTV Rail Jam event, which will act as a spectacular backdrop to Fall’s Creek’s biggest party, will be held in the centre of the five-star Quay West Resort, Falls Creek Village on a 20-step staircase, which, for one night will be transformed into a purpose-built snowboard terrain.

MTV Snow Jam will be held directly in front of the recently opened Quay West Resort & Spa Falls Creek, Australia’s only ski-in, ski-out, 5-star alpine resort and spa. Located at the base of the main ski runs of Falls Creek, The Alta Restaurant at the Quay West Resort & Spa will offer celebrities, performers and VIP guests uninterrupted views of the valley, mountains, ski fields and the action-packed show that will be MTV Snow Jam.

To give those attending the event extra edge, VISA will be distributing 2,000 Visa Prepaid Travel Cards to every MTV Snow Jam guest on arrival. Partygoers will also receive free Moosehead styling products with one lucky person receiving a Moosehead branded snowboard.

Limited tickets to attend MTV Snow Jam are free and available at selected outlets throughout Victoria. Return coach trips from Albury to Falls Creek are available to purchase from The Visitor Information Centre situated at Gateway Island Lincoln Causeway in Albury.
