Wake-up call for a new winter season - Get shred ready!The first opening of the season 08/09 is coming up with an excellently shaped park, free snowboard testing, BBQ, an Absinthe Film premiere and deluxe party sound. Do not miss this insider opening for real shred dogs!

The betterpark at the Hintertux glacier, maintained by head shaper Wille Kaufmann, will provide -according to the snow conditions- a superpipe, a big corner, a pro line, a medium line and an easy line with freshly shaped kickers. Additionally they will have a bunch of new designed boxes. All well-known snowboard firms will dispose test stations and everyone gets the opportunity to check out the stuff from the next season for free against deposit of one´s ID.

A real special will be the “Pro Show” on Saturday from 11.00 to 12.00h., where the riders can win some prize money for stylish trix. It is understood that the rest of the park is open for everyone during that time. If you need a break you should go to the chill-out area at the Tuxer Fernerhaus. Enjoy the BBQ and chillin’ beats and chat about your past summer activities and exchange experiences.

On Saturday night the traditional Video Premier Night of the Zillertal “Shop Trinity”, the Seeker, Insider and of course hotzone.tv. will take place. As a real classic, the brand new DUDE - Movie will be shown. The team video from the Snowboard Online Proshop “hotzone.tv”, featuring Rudi Kröll, Mone Monsberger, Werni Stock, Lars Oesterle, Seppe und Anthony Smits, Reini Rieser, Peter König, Stefan Kisslinger, Ben Wetscher and Guest Rider Beckna, - As a special highlight, the Video Premiere Night presents “Ready”, the new movie from Absinthe Films. No doubt that the Zillertal local and U.S.-snowboarder of the Year Wolle Nyvelt will join this party. Let´s see who else of the Absinthe shred buddies will show up in the Zillertal: Gigi Rüf, Kevin Pearce, Scotty Lago, Markus Keller, Marco Feichtner or even MFM and Nicolas Müller
