On Sunday, a high-spirited Berlin audience looked on as snowboarder Seb Toutant (CAN), freeskier Henrik Harlaut (SWE), and skateboarder Jean Postec (FRA) captured the title of ‘freestyle.champ’ in their respective categories. From Friday to Sunday, 13,000 visitors, live concerts, afterparties with hip DJs and spectacular freestyle action transformed Berlin-Tempelhof Airport into a one-of-a-kind freestyle arena.

L’Assomption’s (Qc) Sébastien Toutant won the jackpot, earning himself $10 000 and top honours at RIDE Shakedown 2009 at Mont Saint-Sauveur. Shakedown’s unique competition format demands that boarders master two disciplines in jam format: jumps and rails. Hana Beaman won top honours at the first-ever Women’s final presented by Oakley, at this year’s RIDE Shakedown.
