norway-bestteam.jpgVolkl World Rookie Fest showcase snowboarding future stars coming from 12 countries at the last Swatch TTR 3star event of the season, hosted in Ischgl, Austria. With massive switch bs7 and cab9, the norwegian Gjermund Braaten obtained the title of World Rookie Champion 2008. In the grom category, (under the 14 years), Dimi De Jong resulted the best with impressive tricks live fs900 tail grab while Kari Opsal Maeland won among the girls. more

White wins Snickers Classic & Popcorn Wallride

The sun was cooking, the music was blasting and riders were going full out at the 4-Star Snickers Classic & Popcorn Wallride in Saas-Fee, Switzerland. In his second European appearance this season, Shaun White bagged his 6th result, 700 TTR Ranking Points, and $10 000 USD. Juuso Laivisto placed 2nd claiming $6000 USD as Saas-Fee local Fredi Kalbermatten rounded out the Top 3. more

West Coast Invitational 2008

These riders will be competing in the Vans Fiesta de la Pipa and The Village Rail Jam for a $20,000 prize purse. more

Dolf van Der Wal first at Burton Halfpipe Invitational

Amongst the riders, were the young and talented Mikkel Bang from Norway, professional Swedish snowboarder Hampus Mosesson and Olivier Gittler from France. They all ripped of a breath taking show with their world class halfpipe riding. The audience followed in style bringing a great positive atmosphere to the event. more
