This weekend, Grindelwald in Switzerland, will host the very final of the second European Peanut Butter and Railjam Championships snowboard series.
After its successful 1st edition last year regrouping the most talented up and coming jibbers from all of Europe, you can expect this to be a rail slaughter Freddy Krueger would be proud of.
All qualified riders from the tour will battle at the “Kleine Scheidegg” just in front of the famous Eiger North Wall to ad some beautiful and impressive scenery to the carnage.
There are three divisions; 15 & under, 16 & over and Girls. The contest runs in a jam format so there are no scheduled runs. You can hit each of the rails as many times as you want during your 20 minute heat. The judges only care about tricks you pull, so you don’t need to worry about falling.
Team riders Cheryl Maas, Iouri Podlatchikov and Gary Greenshields will judge the contest, and the 4 best riders will be flown to Mammoth Mountain to compete for the 40 000$ prize money at the World PBRJ Champs.
